As expert after expert has come forward to slam Hillary Clinton and John McCain's pandering 18.4 cent gas tax cut proposal, the Senator from New York has grown increasingly stubborn. She says that these economists, journalists and by extension Barack Obama (who wisely opposes what would amount to a meaningless tax cut) are "elites" for calling her plan "stupid." Of course, her blatant attempt to capitalize on the very real strain gas prices cause for average Americans could end up winning her some of the upcoming primaries. Only time will tell.
