Diddy to McCain: "You Are Buggin" with Palin

posted by Ari Melber on 09/01/2008 @ 01:02am

Forget Paris Hilton, rapper and music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is now taking on John McCain.

Combs posted an extended YouTube blog this weekend, part of his "Diddy Obama blog" series, blasting McCain for making a reckless running mate selection. "No disrespect, I love you, I want you to live to be 110," he says into a rotating camera. "If you really think we are going to let you win this election with these decisions that you're making, you're buggin!" he adds.

The video, which is laced with f-bombs, calls on youth voters to "protect our future" and stop McCain. After just two days, Combs' address is already one of the top viewed and most favorited videos in YouTube's News and Politics section, with over 50,000 views. It still trailed Obama's convention speech and a handful of other Palin clips.

Again, the video contains swearing:

  2. Well, he's not saying something TOTALLY idiotic like "Vote or Die!"

  3. If McCain wanted an inexperienced young governor to shore up the right wing and make a play at the youth or change vote, Bobby Jindal would have been a MUCH BETTER pick than Sarah Palin.

His intelligence, competence and political skill were on display in his effective management of the Gustav hurricane and coordinating all of his state neighbors to evacuate 1.9 million residents in 48 hours.

I don't like many of Jindal's right wing positions, but he his HEADS AND SHOULDERS above the petty and vindictive Palin who used her power as governor of Alaska to try to carry out a personal family vendetta.

This Palin decision is going to sink the McCain ticket once Palin's abuse of power and hypocrisy concerning government reform becomes widely known to most voters.

  4. Maybe it was the matter of Jindal performing exorcisms that sunk him? So much weird sh*t, you never know.

  6. A 30-second ads showing Michael Moore saying Gustave was sent by God, Diddy's f-word laden "future".... Posted by 2HAPPY at 09/01/2008 @ 08:13am

Then we could show Falwell and Pat Robetson and show them who McCain is catering to.

  7. "The other night, James Dobson's organization asked all believers to pray for a storm on Thursday night so that the Obama acceptance speech outdoors in Denver would have to be canceled."

    Just a little perspective.

  8. The choice of Palin is genius. Not only is she going to siphon MILLIONS of Hillary voters who want a woman in the white house, as someone who was approved by a coalition of Christian leaders, she will re-energize the Christian voters who have been dubious of the McCain ticket and have been defecting to Obama in large numbers. The tide is now moving back in favor of the GOP. Furthermore, in McCain gets out of line, as he is wont to do, and violates the conservatives who voted in large enough numbers for him to get elected, he can easily be replaced by Palin, who can be counted on to appoint the right kinds of judges.

  9. Quick, arica, run, don't walk, to your nearest bank & cash that GOP check before it bounces.

Arica: you are to be ignored.

Not true. My leftist mythology. The pastor who made that statement is not part of Focus on the Family. And he was stupid to do it.
